. Abstract Submission
Abstract submission closed on May 30.
Each registered participant will be allowed to
participate in one mini course and send up to
two abstracts, provided the registered participant
is the author or co-author of the work. There
is no restriction to the number of abstracts one
can co-author.
Abstracts must report conclusive
results. It will not be possible to include illustrations,
graphics and figures in the abstracts. All the
works will be presented as posters, although very
short oral presentations at posters sessions may
be organized.
Although abstracts will be accepted in Portuguese
or English, due to the international character
of the venue the use of English is being strongly
recommended.
Abstracts must be divided into
Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion
sessions, and submitted into one of the following
topics:
- Agronomy
- Botany / Ethnobotany
- Ethnopharmacology
- Public Health
- Natural Products Chemistry
- Pharmacology / Toxicology
(pre-clinical studies and clinical research)
- Pharmacy technology (quality
control, pharmacognosy and pharmacothecnics)
- Registration, legislation and patents
Abstract Format
• Characters Number = 2400
(including spaces title, authors, affiliation,
and acknowledgments).
• Title: Use capital letters
only at the beginning of the title, acronym, or
proper names. Plant names must be italicized.
• Authors: Indicating affiliation
for each cited author.
• References: cite (direct in the text) authors,
journal in abbreviated form, volume, initial page
and year.
• Financial Support and acknowledgments:
should be included at the end.
